I was given a free registration code to enter the race but all opinions are my own.
One of the best things about blogging is that you get to meet some really great bloggers and we talk. A month ago, we were talking about the Dirty Girl Mud Run and it sounds like fun, so I’m in! Now this fits with my goals of getting fit but I’m sure that this was how I planned to do it. I’ll a little hesitant but hey, if I’m not challenging myself then I should be right?
This year’s Dirty Girl Mud Run will be here in the Atlanta area on Saturday, April 12 at Lake Lanier Islands Resort. I’m excited to join the fun because it’s the original women-only 5K mud run series. This is definitely going to push me out of my comfort-zone because it’s a run (which I’ve been not been training for like I should), has tons of crazy obstacles (PMS – Pretty Muddy Stuff) and it’s promised that I’ll be getting really dirty!
I’m really proud to participate in the Atlanta Dirty Girl Mud Run because they support Bright Pink, an organization that focuses on early detection and treatment of breast and ovarian cancers in young women. By attending, I’m supporting a great cause. It’s philanthropy in action, which is always dear to my heart.
If you’re up to the challenge, let me know and join my team! Here’s a code for $10 off the of registration, BLOGFRIEND. If you need any more convincing, here’s a video created by Megan from JaMonkey.com that shows exactly how it goes down.
