Spotlight of Five Resources to Create a Successful Editorial Calendar (2)

It’s that time of year when everyone is looking forward to 2016. Personally, we’re thinking about our New Year’s Resolutions and most businesses finished their 2016 planning months ago. Tax Deductions for Bloggers

I've been a blogger for just a few years but I've been a small business owner for a little bit longer. When I completed my taxes last year, I realized how many things I could actually deduct.  I made this list as kind of checklist to help me recall everything I could deduct and keep track of it for the next year. Here's my list (and I'm sure there are a few I might not have thought about). I would recommend that you consider consulting your own tax professional or seeking advice from the … [Read more...]

Beaches Turks and Caicos in 3 Words

In the interest of keeping things short, I can’t really tell you how magnificent my experience at the Beaches  Turks and Caicos Social Media on the Sand Conference vacation was.  The first three words that come to mind about our experience were Number1, Personalized and #SoonComeBack. Normally, I talk about how wonderful a conference is and what I learned. This event was another level of a conference and vacation experience. My Top 5 Takeaways From #BlogHer14

5 TakeAways From Blogher14 (3)

And she totally called me out for being so sappy. It sounds just as silly now when I typed it out but here are my serious five best takeaways. A cross-country flight with two young children was worth 90 minutes of seeing my girls.  I wrote this post earlier and I got to see most of my girls. Plus … [Read more...]
